3 Ways to a Vintage Style Ring

Vintage style rings are timeless in their style and in their meaning. They represent enduring love with a connection to the past and the future. Are you wanting a vintage style ring? Here are three options.

1. Buy an actual Vintage Ring: You can shop at estate sales, online, or boutique jewelry stores, like mine, to find an actual vintage ring. I always like to imagine the very first person who wore that ring, and what her hopes and dreams were! One thing that you do need to be aware of is that many stores are selling the ring “as is” and have not done any repair work to it. A vintage ring is likely to have worn prongs, chipped gemstones, and other structural damages, and the seller is not going to fix it for free. I suggest taking your vintage ring to a reputable jeweler to have them check it over and do the repair work necessary for your ring to be worn and loved for years to come!

2. Recreate a Vintage Ring: The ring you love may sell before you can buy it, you may be concerned about the durability of a vintage ring, or you may be concerned about potential bad energy attached to the ring from the previous owner, so in those cases, I suggest recreating a vintage ring with a jewelry designer, like me! Using pictures of the ring in different angles, a CAD designer can draw the ring and make changes until you like it. You also have a chance to tweak parts of the ring that you may not have loved and use gemstones you may already have. Another idea is that you can combine different elements of vintage rings you like to create something different!

3. Modern With Vintage Vibe: These rings are the modern interpretation of vintage and can be gorgeous and sparkly! The diamonds and gemstones are generally set in prongs, pave, and even bezels. They have decorative elements like milgrain and curls of gold. I love how these rings really show off the diamonds and gemstones.
